I just bought a 02 impreza and know nothing about turbo. Its my first turbo charged car. I need books good threads stuff like that to get up to speed on what i need to know. i don't want my suby to be stock forever...

 

my 2 cents would be to drink a couple cups of coffee on an open night.. and sit down at the comp, and just read as many threads on as many different sites on subarus as you can... you can learn alot in one night.. it just takes the patience to do so...

 

What he said...and if you want to know how something works, it may sound corny but http://www.howstuffworks.com/ is a great site. you can learn the basics of how a turbo works and other mechanical stuff. But the best thing to do is search and search the internet. believe me, you might feel overwhelmed so i suggest learning about certain parts of the car first like the suspension or transmission or engine layout and things like that...good luck with the suby and stay away from aftermarket intakes and blow off valves

 

You might also consider going to the FAQ section of NASIOC and reading everything there as you will find a lot of very useful info.
