I agree with 02black wrx. People on this site may have been talking about tires for a long time, but I am new to the site and am interested in current thoughts. I read enough, and slipped on wet roads a few times, to convince myself to ditch the RE 92's for something better. I'll keep them around and put them back on someday when I trade the car in. Someone will be getting new tires with their used car. If they don't like them, they can do what I did and replace them.

I bet that a WRX with RE92's can handle better than an STI with RE070... in the snow... But as for regular driving in So Cal... yes yes, they suck. But they get me past the snow chain lines when I go to the mountains.
