would it fit? 225/50/16 on stock wheels
would 225/50/16 tires fit the stock wrx rims?
would 215/55/16 tires fit the stock wrx rims?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i have the stock wrx rims and i am "done" with the stock tires which are the bridgestone potenza re92, they are horrible!
so i am going to buy Continental ContiExtremeContact, they seem very good the only question i have in me mind is if the
215/55/16 or 225/50/16 would fit the rims perfect. i think the 205s are too small for the wrx so i'd rather get the 215s but i guess 225 will give me better handling, please help me out on this.
if they dont...ill have to get the 205/55/16s again

I remain consistent with my recommendation of the 225s. They look and behave well on stock wheels. They fit rims from 6 - 8" so you're not breaking or even stretching the rules.
