Will 225/45/17 fit?

Question: will 225/45/17 on a 17x7.5 48 offset wheel fit on my wrx? Lowered on eibach prokits. lowered 1.3in up front and 1in in the rear. Will i get any rubbing issues? Or should i just get 215/45/17?

I've tried searching but I got mixed answers. Thanks in advance.

This depends on the exact tire you use. I had 215/45R17 Bridgestone S03s on 17x7 +48mm Prodrive P1s, and they rubbed like crazy in the rear. On the other hand, I could have put, say, 225/45 Yoko AVS ES100s no problem. In other words, check the physical width of the tire on tirerack.com before deciding if it will fit.

oct1285, what exact wheel and tire are you looking to use? What exact car do you have?
