35 offsets rub nasty. i had 18x7.5s and i ruined two pilot sports due to fender rubbing. best thing to do is to get the correct offset which i believe is 48.

what if i get 17x7 with an offset of +45mm or +42? will it still rub? 205/40R17 is coming with the rim but i wanted 215, he told me its going to be 215/45R17!! why not 215/40R17????

No rub with the +45, probably not the +42 either. 205/40R17 is way way short though. Even 215/45R17 is shorter than stock, by a little. You'll absolutely want to get rid of the 205/40s, even though they will probably handle very well. You'll probably get tired of your speedo being off by over 10 mph on the freeway, plus your odometer running up faster than it should.
