Which wheels for black 04 WRX??

I have a black 04 WRX and am trying to decide on which wheels to get. There are tow that I like, which is better?

OR

I can't decide. I want something dark to compliment the black, but also want a polished effect to a part of the rims so they don't look like steelies when rollin.

The first ones are plain 'ol Rota Tarmac II's, correct? A good wheel, but in gunmetal they look just plain black. I've only seen them on a silver WRX, so that makes them look darker. The black+silver is interesting.

The second ones... well, those belong on an Escalade or a Prelude with a neon-green fade paint job, but not on any tasteful WRX IMO. Puts the U in U-G-L-Y. Those also look about 24 lbs.

What's your price limit? There are a lot of wheels out there in "hyper-black" or "black with machined lip" that are better looking than those (again IMO). If the choice is just between these two, get the Rotas -- but lose the center cap

Budget is an issue. I don't want to spend more than 700 or so.

Gotta Go Gold my buddy! I just put Gold Rota SDR's on my WR Blue 2004, looks super good. Black rims make the rims look dirty, and don't really add anything to the car, just get hub caps if you want the ghetto look!

You might want to also check out the ALT line up!! There is some great looking wheels that will look sweet on your car!!

Here is a link to my thread....it starts with the newest wheels from the SEMA show and the rest are on the first page.

I think that the NEW AT296 or the AT298 in Carbon Black would look good! Among others....

Let me know if I can help anyone!! Feel free to email or PM me with any questions!

Thanks,
Brian

if you don't want to spend more than 700 good luck on finding anything not used. aside from rotas

almost everyother wheel company will cost a whole lot more than rotas. unless you find a good deal for used wheels, of course.

konig rims are cool but, german rims on a japanese car?

Try something like gunmeatal or darksilver with a polished lip.
Gunmeatal is alittle different. you hardly ever see em.
