Question Wheels for 03 Sonic Yellow Rex

My car is BONE stock. I just got it not even 2 months ago. I'm totally lost on trying to figure out what rims would look best on my Sonic Yellow rex. I know its all opinion based. I DO know I dont want flashy rims, something maybe in gun metal possibly or anything that just isnt flashy(chrome. silver that is flashy is a no no too)

I know for tires I want something quiet, all season, but want good highway performance as far as speed goes too. I also like to take corners a lil fast, lol. Size is another question? 17x7.5 the best? I do plan on lowering my car just a tad, nothing drastic to the point where I have to drive 2 miles per hour around town to go into driveways, etc. 1/2" to 1" lowering is the most I'm gonna go.

I apoligize if I sound so noobish, I'm just clueless for some reason as far as tires go. Any help is much appreciated!

Nothing TOO expensive, but I'm also not going to go dirt cheap either.

I have looked at other threads and around before I made this post, didnt really find any good answers yet. Thank you again for the help and suggestions!! :-)

Check out the Gallery section for wheels. Or go to tirerack.com, they have a bunch you can look at on a simulator thing. They also have tire reviews, as does this forum. I like the Pirelli PZero M+S because they work great for me in pretty much any condition, low noise, but they aren't cheap.
Personally, if I was going to get new wheels, I'd either save up for some Prodrive GC-7's or just get some Rota SDRs (knock off of the same wheel). Most people on here are happy with the performance and look of Rotas, and they're cheap.

i forgot who has them on there car...but gunmetal rota tarmac II's look really hot. jpsimon painted it stockers bronze and they came out real good and he recently posted a thread in the gallery section of his new bronze wheels on his sonic yellow wrx, and they look very good. i think bronze looks good, and gunmetal looks good. id stay away from silver though, i think silver looks bad on every car.

^^^ thats the link to jpsimons car. if u want all season tires i can suggest what i have on m car now. continental contiextremecontact...they grip good in the snow and in the rain. they lost long and they have good dry grip compared to other allseason tires. and i think 17x7.5 is the best performing wheel size.

Black, bronze, or gunmetal all look great with Sonic Yellow. Basically anything dark.
