We sell McGard locks - pretty good stuff. Check out www.mcgard.com and see if they have a compatible set.

Just bought some McGard spline drive black lug nuts from Oakos. I'll post again after i install them. I'm confident though that my lug key wont' strip like if i were to use moteki or some other ebay brand.

McGuard makes the OEM locks for Subaru, they make the Spline drives too:

www.oakos.com is where I got mine, I would have used tire rack but they did not have black only chrome. Both good places to deal with IMHO

I'm a little confused on how these work... buy going from the pictures from scoobydude's site, it looks like the locking nuts have a special tool to get them off, looks like a socket... What is to stop someone from buying these then using the tool to steal your wheels? I might be missing something but do wheels get stolen a lot? As much as cars at least?

Thanks :-)

Not all keys are the same. Besides, it's not like we roll on spinners or really expensive wheels. Not to mention people don't know what non-Subaru cars the rims will fit.

Wheels do get stolen a lot. In fact, at my work (a Navy base), a guy i work with was leaving, only to stumble upon his car on blocks, missing all his tires. This is on a Navy base!!! Anyway, wheel locks don't guarentee that your wheels won't be stolen. Just like a car alarm doesn't completely prevent anyone from breaking into your car or stealing your car. It's just a deterent.

Just a heads up, I installed my McGuard Spline lugs yesterday. I love them. The tool to put them on is a 21mm (13/16ths works too spark plug size) not 19mm like the lug nut wrench in the trunk. I'm not sure about any of the other types (the OEM locks's tool is 19mm I'm sure of that) . Just something to remember. I have a small torque wrench I carry and put the appropiate socket in there too.

While the splined lugs aren't technically locks, they aren't able to be taken off with normal tools.
