what to choose?
Hi folks,
after many mind numbing reviews, i've decided to ask this community about some tires that I'm considering purchasing for my 02 wrx stock rims...I'm not really an aggressive driver, but do like my traction.....I do like an all season tire, good for rain, snow, dry weather, decent prices......and a tire that isn't a POS and will last a long time....more than 30k? anyhow, i'd like to hear from you all about tires....
I just got falken z's and they suck.....first week one of em deflated.....2 years later.....same crap....i figure i cant just buy one tire.....i'm reluctant to just buy 2 , so im thinking another set...
here are some that i've been looking at in my price range...
Kumho ECSTA ASX
Sumitomo HTR+
Yokohama AVS dB S2
Yokohama AVID V4S
others???

I have the Kumho's for my all season and they are great. Their tread rating is good, the dry and wet traction is awesome and their snow traction is something like a 7.1. I used them this winter and didn't have any issues here in Delaware.
In the summer, I switch to some Yoko AVS ES 100's but they are for summer only and they are also a great tie. (Just thought I'd throw that in...)
I hope this helps.

Nothing off the top of my head I can think of. I went with the Kumho's because to me they were the best bang for the $$. You can check out tirerack.com, they've got a great comparisson section.
