hey all, converted honda guy here, I got an 02 wrx wagon and want to put rims on it but wanted some opinions first 17 or 18, 7.5 or 8 inch wide- what do you peeps run?

is that because of the narrower fenders on the wagon? There are alot more wheel and tire options with 17s but i like the idea of 18s too, whats a good width and tire size to use if i go with 18s?
Yes, the wagons don't have as much room in the fenders as a sedan. You could run a 215/40/18 and If you went with a +53 mm offset I'd think you could run 225/40/18's but I'm not 100% sure since I've never owned a wagon. I know there are people running wide tires on wagons but suspension setup plays a big role.

Here's one for offsets http://marksink.com/tire_wheel_offset/offset.html . Don't forget that changing the width requires a change in offset.
the OE rims are +55 and 16X6.5
