Wagon Rim Question

So I'm thinking about putting some new shoes on my 05 WRX Wagon. I've done some searches but haven't come up with a concrete answer. Will 18's fit without rubbing if I use 215's? I like the Prodrive p1s or pff7s in 18. If those don't work without rubbing, I was thinking about the rota sdr 17s with the +53 offset. Is the 10mm more I'd get in tire width be worth not getting 18s? If anyone has any advice or input, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks dudes

18's will fit without rubbing depending on your suspension and offset.

I've seen people run 18's with 225's without rubbing.

with the +53's you should be able to run 235's. It's why I picked up that offset for my wagon.

It's really all about looks....do you like 18's or 17's. You going for looks or performance.

Best all around wheel with the most flexibility is gonna be the 17.

whichever you want really.

I'm running stock STI bbs wheels from an '04 with 225's and no rubbing issues. Those rims are 17x7.5. Offset is the big key.

I would go for 18 x7.5 but I've decided to go for the 17" SDRs because they look good and will be cheaper and more comfortable in the long run. It says on the subydude site to run 225s but I can really go to 235 with no issue with the +53 offset?
