Toyo Proxy 4
Toyo Proxy 4
I was thinking about buying these tires to replace my Toyo T1-S. Don't get me wrong my T1-S were great tires, but I don't feel like changing wheels with every season so I figured I would buy all season tires. I have heard pretty good things about the Proxy 4, but I am most interested in how good they are in the snow? We don't get a ton here in NJ, but we get the occasional blast. So does anyone on here have any experience with these in winter conditions?
Thanks

I had a set on when I went cross country. I went through about 1,000 miles of snow and ice. I thought they did pretty good(I only slid off the road once) I think they are a good all season tire for anyone that doesn't get alot of snow.

I agree they are a decent all -season tire, not really exceptional in any condition but not too bad in any either. Their dry weather handling is pretty solid, they let you know before they let go and they are pretty easy to gather up from a slide compared to stickier tires that can be a bit too "snappy" in those situations.
The one thing I didn't care for it that they are directional which means no rotating them side to side, which in turn means they'll tend to wear a bit faster than thier high treadwear rating might indicate.
