T1-S's are a very good tire. They give tons of traction and I believe they're good in the wet also. Wet traction is hotly debated, but mine are most excellent with no hydro-planing that I've noticed. I would highly recommend the tire.
In the Miata community (I have a 220 hp Miata that outruns stock WRX's
) the T1-S's are considered the best all around tire and tire of choice. Close second is the Azenis or something like that. Evidently tons of traction but short tread life.
Hope this helps.
Terbeaux.

I also have T1-S tires on my car. They are great tires all around. Both the wet and dry traction are very good. Also the road noise isn't that bad for performance tires and the ride comfort is pretty good as well. I definitely recommend these tires. But if you want something a little cheaper (T1-S tires are pretty expensive) I would recommend the Yokohama Parada Spec 2. They also have AA traction and A temp but they only cost around $120 a piece.
