Avoid Revolutions Motorsports Props to TireRack kinda long
First off, I had some good experience with revolutions in the past w/ some fog light covers and side markers, so I figure I'll go with them for my new wheels.
Here's my story, take it for what its worth, just figured I'd give all of you a heads up.
I email them back in October on some 17" O.Z wheels, they give me a price, and I like it, so I ask about shipping, they tell me. I go home talk to the wife, and we decided to wait til April (my birthday). Now march comes around, and I e-mail them again (it's been a while, so I figure I'll check on the price) they tell me yep same price no problems. So, April 1st I send them an e-mail, telling them to order the wheel/tire combo for me. No response by noon that day (no biggie, but I've wanted them for so long I didn't want to wait), so I give them a call and talk to Jay (he's the guy I've been emailing....
Jay says whoops, I gave you the wrong price, the wheels are actually 50 bucks more EACH, which adds 200 bucks to the total price... so i'm like, well that wasnt what we agreed on, what can you do, he hem haws around, so I finally ask about their Rota Attacks... He says their out of stock, but should have them in in 1-3 weeks. So I ask him if he could call and verify if it is going to be 1 or 3 weeks, he says sure. Puts me on hold. couple minutes later comes back and tells me 4-6 weeks minimum....
so i go to tire rack instead.
Luke says he has the O.Z's in stock ready to ship, but they are more expensive than the quote over at Revolutions(obviously because Revolutions screwed up) so instead I get some wrx wheels, sumitomo HTR+, Koni inserts and some V700's for autocross....
I'm gonna be having some fun at autoX this year....

Just wanted to add my $0.02:
I ordered a set of 17x7.5 Rota Attacks (Gold) with Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Positions less than a month ago from Revolutions, and have nothing but good things to say about the experience. I emailed them first after noticing that the wheel/tire package was no longer listed on their website after the site was redesigned. They said no problem, and quoted me a very good price. I called them later that same day and ordered them. I was told that it would take about 10 days due to the tires (the wheels were in stock and could ship same day if sold separately). Fast forward one week (8 days later), and they arrived at my house during the Marquette-Missouri NCAA tournament game, and I was able to put them on the car at halftime.
I think they look great and would definitely order from Revolutions in the future. I know that everyone's experience may be different, but wanted to let it be known that mine was nothing but positive.
