tires on stock rims question

tires on stock rims question

will 225 50 tires fit on stock rims?? if not what is the best size tire for the stock rims??

i want to upgrade my tire while i save for some rims i was thinking of geting some falkens azenis but the so3s look good too. i dont have to worry about snow just rain. any help picking a tire would be a great help thanks

They fit just fine on the stock wheels. They are noticeably wider and some will say they "balloon" a bit, but I've seen it numerous times and it's an absolute improvement over stock size. Outer diameter is fine too - so speedometer won't be adversely affected.

Sorry to but in but do you mean 225 50 16's or 225 50 17's ?

Im assuming this is for the stock wrx wheels?

I was referring to 225/50-16 for the stock 16x6.5 WRX alloys.

If you keep camber settings stock, no problem. If you lower past 1.5" and change camber settings, then rubbing could be an issue. Camber settings normally stay the same with Eibach ProKit and H&R Sport springs (fyi).
