superleggera vs prodrive wheels
I'm debating the virtues of the o.z. superleggera vs the prodrive p7. I know the prodrives are a great value right now at the tire rack. my concern is the weight issue. The prodrives are around 20 lbs vs 16 for the oz's.
My question is: can anyone tell me if i will notice a difference in day-to-day driving if i go with the heavier wheels??
I know there was a thread on the board regarding unsprung weight as it relates to wheels, but it was a little too technical.
Anyone out there with the prodrives who might be able to help me with this issue?
Thanks!

I have the supperleggera's in 18's on a WRX. No problems, don't really feel any difference in accelaration. Handling has improved dramatically. I did hear that the Supperleggara's have some bending issues though. Just be careful when you drive and you'll be alright!!

You will probably notice a little difference. But you might want to consider durability also. The P7 are almost indestructable when compared to the Superleggeras. I have friends that have bent the SLs easily with pot holes and such. I have friends that have hit curbs at like 30mph and not have one dent or bent rim on their P7s. But in the end it is up to you. If weight is your biggest concern, go with the SSRs. They are light and really strong.
