I'm thinking about powder coating a set of STI wheels that I bought from someone. they are beat to ****.

They were GOLD but someone painted them with BLACK spray paint.

I'm open to any color really and any pictures of examples would be awesome. This will be going on a WHITE bugeye.

if you want gold again, i got some deep true gold at k-mart "dutch boy" in red can.

also duplicolor engine enamel at kragen-"gold" ive heard is good

i also did duplicolors wheel paint in the dark graphite black, looks nice

 

Thanks, I'm leaning more towards powder coating since the paint surface will be stronger.

I do want gold again but maybe something more exotic?

yeah white is hard to work with. Ive seen on white with really really dark blue on some ce28's it looked awesome in the sun. maybe pick a favorite color and make it almost black?

I like dirty burnt bronze but am afraid it wont look good on my white RS

 

I have dark bronze on my Aspen White STi, they came pretty awesome. They are powder coated and not painted.



The photo is overexposed, but you get the gist of it.

What about the syms metallic green?
