the STi has 5x114.5 bolt pattern and the WRX has 5x100 i think the 04 STi has the 5x100 bolt pattern

Minor correction - 05+ STI's have a 5 x 114.3 bolt pattern, while the '04 STI has the 5 x 100 bolt pattern. I believe that previous models of the STI also had the 5 x 100 bolt pattern, but since they were not available in the US prior to MY04 then that really isn't all that relevant to you (unless you are possibly trying to import wheels).
