Sti wheels on a wrx?

Hey there, I'm new to the forum and was wondering if anyone could give me any reason not to put stock '04 sti wheels on my '03 wagon or point me to a thread that covers this. The bolt pattern is the same, right? I know that the overall diameter is bigger on the sti wheels than on the 17 inch 5 spoke optional wheels for the wrx but is this really an issue? thanks for the help!

no issue, many have done it. just be careful and make sure your sti wheels are 04 and NOT 05 because 05 has a different bolt pattern.

word. I just picked up some 04 wheels, just rember to avoid 2005 wheels. 2004 = 5x100 while 2005/2006 =5x114

Correct offset and bolt pattern. It's a good way to get 225's inside our smaller fenders

Homer, you are so nice - you never yell at them to "Search nooob" It is often just easier to answer them
