I like steel grey better because they are darker than the rest of the car but that is just my opinion. You should get what you think looks best. who cares what other people think they arent the ones driving your car you are. There are some pic's of my platinum silver WRX with steel grey wheels on this link https://www.i-club.com/forums/showth...threadid=56840 The pic's arent that great because it was dusk and my camera sucks.

Yeah, I like steel grey better too. But, I must admit that I am biased towards darker wheels.

Hey thanks for the reply. I was leaning towards steel grey just needed another opinion. Do you guys know much about Kosei rims? I'm looking at the K1 TS. They are extremely light but don't know about strength?

Here, "glepko," this ought to shut you up... I mean, calm your anxiety

Kosei K1-TS 17" w/ Goodyear F1 DS-G3 in "Light Grey" painted finish. Sorry the car is so dusty, it's been pretty windy the last few days, and that means DUST on everything.

Here are a few more; for some reason the thumbnails didn't make it, but the big pictures did:

I'm pretty happy with the wheels and tires; I'll save any review on either after my first 1k with them. I think they look dead sexy, however, and I typically never use that term to refer to cars

Hey Meilers thanks for the pics. Your car looks great with those rims. I think I have definantly made up my mind. Quick ? did you go with a 225/45/17 or 215/45/17?
Thanks crawlwrx

225/45/17, as per TireRack specs. Looking at the tires I almost wish I went 235, as they seem to have room on the rim for it.

Hey Meilers I forgot to ask if you noticed a difference in acceleration due to the weight reduction from the stock rims?

I have 17" Tarmac IIs. I am usually NOT a fan of dark wheels, but I really like the steel grey. I haven't noticed any differences in acceleration at all:

Well, I also got heavier tires, and I went to 17" from 16" which means more wheel for the car to turn, so the acceleration is pretty much the same -- however, the initial GRAB is intense with the new tires! Overall the car does feel "lighter," easier to drive and more precise. I'll be interested to see if there is any change in my gas mileage...
