another springs thread
Hello everyone,
I am in need of opinions regarding lowering springs for my 02 WRX. I have looked through the archives and have found many threads with contradicting opinions. I want springs that will decrease the 4x4 look and give me a slightly firmer ride. I want to use them with the stock struts. If anyone can post pics, what springs, opinions that would be greattly appreciated. I am not looking for comments like "search some more" or the like, please help me out. If not just leave the thread alone.
Thanks

you answered your question already...
"I want to use them with the stock struts." = prodrive
doesn't lower it that much tho. i would suggest getting aftermarket shocks if you are looking for different springs.

No, I should have clarified, I have read numerous posts about Prodrive. People did mention that you are still 4 wheellin with them, and I am looking for pics with product on their car and opinion from experience.

if you are concerned about getting rid of wheel gap, perrin springs will do the job, it lowers 1.9 front 1.5 rear. looks very clean and such

you can see one there. oh and soren (redrex) is selling it now
if you think that is too low, a slightly higher is whiteline controls. I used them on stock struts and they were okay. pics to come

The front gap is slightly larger than the rear and if you dont like that you may want to go with Prodrives they seem to be the most even drop Ive seen (Ive only seen them in this pic though). Here is a link that has a pic of a car with them. Sorry the pic's suck, my camera is a piece of you know what. https://www.i-club.com/forums/showth...5&pagenumber=2

Actually I have a Subaru platinum mastercard that gives me 3% on purchases so I got them for $80 after I used $200 in subaru bucks. I bought them from Subaru, SPT=Subaru Performance Tuning. Here is their site (their kind of expensive) Im pretty sure the Eibach pro kit is the same but Im not sure. http://www.spt.subaru.com/microsites...trim=WRX+SEDAN
