Rim Recomendations

I'm looking for a set of rims for my '02 silver WRX. I want something under 19 lbs, in 17 inch, for close to $400.00 Strength counts too. Any idea what the Volk GT-N's wiegh?
Thanks

I'm also currently looking for wheel's, although I don't think you'll find a set of GT-N's for 400, but after a little research, I think the 18's weigh in at 18.5lb's.

I've always liked the looks of the Prodrive GC-07C's: light (around 15 lb in 17"), forged, OK offset, but definitely not under $400/wheel. ..closer to $600.

Lately I've been eying the SSR GT2's: light (around 15 lb in 17"), SSF construction, OK offset, and just over $400/each. Haven't heard much otherwise about 'em.

There's always the JDM/EDM 17" wheels: around 17 lb, OEM fitment, proper offset.

Brent.

I think, after mutch deliberation, I will go with the Volk LE28N's in gun metal, 17x7.5. They are light (around 13 lbs) and are of a forged mono-block designe.-plus they are close to my target of $400.00 per rim.
Thanks for the input guys.

BLACK SSR Professors. The Volks are a good choice, but don't make much of a statement. The SSR "black" is actually a metallic dark grey, what other wheel makers call "anthracite"; I've seen those wheels up close, and they are BAD-***.

I've had the SSR Competitions for several months now. I got the 17X7.5 inch rims, weighing in at less than 13 lbs apiece. They seem plenty strong, too. I've been doing some demanding driving on some nasty, poorly-maintained pavement and have not run into ANY issues.

The SSR GT wheels seem to be the plumper sister of the SSR Competitions. I'm not sure that the additional strength of the GTs will be needed by most drivers, and there is the additional weight and cost penality to consider.

The thing about the SSR Competitions is they just look breathtakingly lean and a lot of folks are just scared to give them a try.
