I'm searching for some steelies for Winter tire placement so I can get the winter's off the aluminum (i only bought the car a week ago )
Anyways, I notice that the Toyota Matrix rims are the same size(5x100, 16x6.5) as the Legacy rims, anyone know if they'll fit without me having to go out and try them myself?
The only other choice I really have is to get the Universal fit steelies besides a used set of rims which are hard to come by around here for my car.

 

The real issue is offset, where you want not less than +48 with the stock size of 16X6.5, as your OEM's are I believe +53. Take a look at TireRack for steelie winter wheels.

yep, offset is 53-55 for the Legacy rims.
the Matrix rims are a offset of 39
oh well, back to searching....
