Rally/Snow Tires
All right everyone, here is a question 4 you all. Rally tires........
Looking for Rally tires that would fit a 16" wheel.. I have only seen 15" rally tires, I have a 04 WRX and the stock tires are 205/55/16. would a 15" wheel clear the brake calipers or not. If not does anyone have any Bridgestone Blizzacks for sale?

there are a few 16" rally tires out there. I know Michellin makes a set. I think Pirelli might as well. PM Platypus for more info. He knows all that stuff.
there are very few 15" rims that clear the wrx brakes and generally they are on the pricey side.
As for using a snow tire for dirt and gravel, that can work. Just make sure you get a tire that has an aggressive enough tread pattern to grip the dirt and rocks. plus you will probably run through them pretty fast.

Thanks for the info, I know the snow tires are rated at a Q (>85 mph) and are soft very soft to grip snow... do you have a websight or just pm Platypus?
