esoterik... the wheels were custom fitted at the manufacturer's of Angstrom wheels. the offset is in their books. i drove the car all night up and down driveways, through mediocre pot holes and what not. no such rubbing. once again 19x8's on 235/35/19's. i'll post pics tomorrow afternoon... it took for friggin ever to get them all mounted and balanced tonight. car rides awesome and the smooth as hell. update in the a.m.

i can't recall the weight... but contact Eric at www.supremepowerparts.com they are the southern california distributer for Angstrom wheels. He could give you all the 411.
I wanted to fit 235s or 245s on 17x8 or 18x8s. Works were kinda pricey, & I didn't get a great impression from iForged's sales staff. So I went with something else. Angstrom's site has no info on fitaments, so spill the beans already!

like i said... go to www.supremepowerparts.com and email/call eric there. the angstrom site is lagging like a lot of others at this point in time. the manufacturer has the measurements now for the wrx and sti, so things should go pretty smooth. get back to me if he isn't quick with the info you need.
lower your car mang. the bigger the rims are from stock, the lower the car needs to go to look nicer. the combination of more metal, less rubber, and lotsa fender gap doesnt make the most aestheticly pleasing setup. 19s are just too big for stock height, but thats just imo. hell, i ride on 16s. looks good nonetheless. lowered would look even better.

i agree with you here... i have to wait to attempt the lowering project until i gather some green. as it is, i'm not 100% sure what my limit is, seeing how my wagon has small wheel wells and a whole lot of tire to fit into it. i'm still loooking into the sti fender switch-over, but i don't know if that will help in this case.
whats the offset again? before lowering, get the rear fenders rolled for sure, since you have 235's. if you arent rubbing on the strut side already, the offset if probably less than 50. in which case you should roll your rear fenders at least. you should get S-Tech's with some AGX struts, or jsut get coilovers for the best look.
WOW... I see how everyone just jumped on you for having 19's.... I mean ya I get the point about wheel size and performance, but people do build to the choice that they feel to follow. If you do not have the cash to perform and want be in the spotlight they take the choice to show. Bigger wheels is not always about the bling. Since I do have a show car that sits on 19's, wheel size in my eyes is to to catch the eye of the consumor at shows. The more attention I receive means I meet my sposnors requirments and mean more free product for me. I do not know the guy or gals choice on why they want 19's, but come on don't knock them on his thought and ideas. Just support him and show him the respect of his project. He did have the respect to ask you for your thought on your views, but don't knock him.

I put some 225 hankook race rubber on my car.. it's almost an inch wider than the 225s and it rolls... g-tech tells me .98 lateral Gs. But I'll ahve to roll the fender cause one of the sides rubs like a mother
