Nitto tires question.
Anyone know how well Nitto N01 tires handle all year around? I`m plannig to get a set for 18x8 wheels.

u mean the NT01 right? they are a great tire for competition or track use, but for a daily driver i definately would not consider them. with only 6/32's of tread and a treadwear rating of 100 it is geared more for a weekend at t-hill or autox.
if your looking for some good gripping tires that can be driven pretty regularly on i would recommend either the falken Azenis RT615 or the Hankook RS-2. I have had some experience with both and the perform very well for the price.
just my .02 cents

I just had a set of NT01's mounted up for autocross, these tires would last maybe 6000 miles on the street and once the first 2/32nds of tread are gone, they are basically a slick, only two grooves around the circumference, not a tire you would want in the rain and you might as well just release your parking brake and send your car off the cliff if you are considering using them in the winter. Like the guy above said, the Hankook Rs2 or the Falken Azenis would be better, also the Kumho MX. Again, though, you wouldn't want any of those tires on if you get caught in the snow. I got caught in a little storm last year with the Rs2's on my car and ended up in the ditch, luckily no damage and I got pulled out easily but I had to leave my car until the snowplows came by. All this in about 2 inches of snow.
