I sure hope they are good. I'm probably picking some of these up tomorrow.

Nitto tires are trash. Several members of i-club have had issues with them, including me. From my research and experience I recommend Bridgestone Potenza S-03 (expensive summer tires), Michelin Pilot Sport A/S (expensive all-season), Falken Azenis (cheap summer), and Sumitomo HTR+ (cheap all-season). I have no experience with the NeoGen tires though.

Well... I got them.. look at my user name

Even though some folks have claimed some other Nitto designs are crud, I figured I'd give them a shot. So far, after only a couple days, I think they are great. (I'm running 215/45/17s on Rota SDRs)

It looks like they've put some effort in this tire.. and the tread design with the beefy outer shoulder is what won me over.

I'll post a longer term review after I get more miles on them.

Thanks,

On the highway, they seem to be about the same, however there is noticeably more road noise on uneven and rough pavement- but this is to be expected with any performance tire in this size- I went from the stock 205/55/15 to a 215/45/17.

The tires are very quiet on smooth pavement- if that's what you are asking. Edit- I do hear a bit of "tread noise" on smooth pavement- I'll update in a few weeks to make sure they don't get louder

Thumbs up Thoughts after drivin' like I stole it.

Ok... these tires have AWESOME grip considering they are All-season rated tires. I hit some tight twisties, open stretches, panic turns, drifting, etc.... they grip way better than my old tires (and they were fairly good) and are very controllable at the limit...

I give two thumbs up to these things.

So your old tires, were they the stock RE92s? Most people don't consider those anywhere near fairly good.

Nope... my old tires were ContiExtremeContacts... slightly better than the RE92s. RE92s are not bad when aired up around 40lbs... by the way. Many auto x-ers have gotten decent times on them.
