i've been running 17"x 8.5" Advan tc2's for about 3 years now and the other day i went to fill my tires up with air.. unfortunately, i could fill 3 out of 4 tires.....the last tire, no matter what i did, couldnt fill up
...the stem itself looks intact (no damage) when i press on the core the air comes out, but air wont go in! WTF?!...its at 25 psi right now and i dont want a flat on my hands anytime soon...please help ASAP!!!
extra info:
Rims:17"x 8.5" Advan tc2 gold
tires: Federal 235 45 r17
valve stem: (came with rims) anodized Advan blue metal (no leaks/damage)
changed tires twice, used same stems and core. this is the first time this happend...
what could be the problem? what should i do?

your suppose to replace the valve stem everytime the tires are switched (which a lot of tire shops don't do). my guess would be that the valve core was put in backwards. i suggest taking it to a tire shop and have them replace the valve stem.
they gotta pull the tire off the rim to install a new valve stem so don't be surprised if it costs a little more than you expect.

^^^ thanks for the reply...i realize that you should replace the valve stem with every tire change.... its just that the rims came with some nice anodized blue metal ones
so i didnt want to change them....besides i dont think they installed it backwards b/c ive been filling up all the tires with air for the past 2 years with no problem...only recently that one side started to act up.....i'll try to change the valve core and see what happens. before i replace the valve stem with an ugly black one, lol.

I don't care if they are 24kt gold. When you put on new tires replace the valve stems. Had a valve stem let loose at 145 mph on the track. Smacked the wall hard in a 911 production coupe. Worse $40 I ever saved (they were a cool red anodized!). The repairs only cost me $8K!
you can sometimes just change out the core and not the whole stem.i worked in a tire shop and most higher end rim/tire shops should be able to install a stem (if ness.)w/out removing the tire, maybe only a rebalanced if tire is not put back to same spot.lmk what was the cause.
