Help: Will I Rub? 18x9 +35 wrapped on 225/40/18 tires.

I have a 2007 wrx lowered on Cobb springs.

I have a set of 18x9 Rota G-forces +35 offset I was thinking of getting new tires that are 225/40/18 but I wasn't sure if it'll rub. Would I need to get the fenders rolled and pulled or just rolled?

cobb springs aren't that low.. you should be fine with just rolling. you might even be fine without any work the width of the tire isn't that wide..

Cobb's springs are low for springs. They are also soft. They are essentially blue S-Techs. I think you would be fine running 225s, though that size is way too small for a 9" wheel.

Yes they are soft. I bought the wheels used and they were originally on 215/40/18 gawwwd they were super stretched. They use to rub in the back only when the car had 4 passengers. As for the 225/40/18 tires I was looking for a stretched look. I take it I have to Roll the fenders maybe even pull to avoid any rubbing issues(when I get the 225/40/18 tires)?

POSSIBLE. im thinking just a good pro roll and a little camber in the rear. should be good.

Rear roll would probably be fine. That being said, anything smaller than a 255 on 9" wheels is a joke. 225s belong on an 8" wheel max.

How is that a joke? I'm running 215/45/17 on a 17x9.75 with 25 offset on my 240sx and my friend is running the same thing on a 03 wrx.

form over function IMO. stretched tires on slammed rides/herra frush look beast IMO. but if i were to track it, id get myself some more tire clearance, go with a proper size tire. ie. 255-265 on a 9.5wide for bettter handling. im thinking of buying another set of wheels. track wheels. forged, lightweight, 17's, proper tire fitment, proper alignment.

IMO, all comes down to personal preference.

I have the same gforces but my tires are 245/40 and the rub in the back if someone is in the car, mainly hitting dips at a decent speed. I need to roll mine and should be good.but I don't know where I can go to get them rolled, anyone have suggestions?
