Help with shaking??
Hey everyone, just got some new rims and tires delivered to me. Tires were already mounted and balanced from the store that I bought them from. I put them on the car, drove to Sac today and got a lot of shaking after around 60-65mph......not sure what it is that may have caused this. I checked the tires, and all of the "rotation" arrows are pointing in the correct direction...so could it be the weights on the wheels?? Any way that I can fix this at home without having to go to a shop?? I drive to Concord for work, and dont want to cause any un-needed damage...TIA

looked at all the rims and they don't appear to be bent. When you get new rims, and install them, it doesnt matter which one goes in the back and which go in the rear, so long as the rotation arrows are pointing the right way, right?? This is like the 2nd pair of rims I've ever bought, and never had the issue with the first....so sorry for the newb question.

I had the same exact problem. Turns out my Rims were fine. One of my tires were out of round. I called the company that sold me the tires, they told me to bring my car to a local dealer, I did then they didn't only replace the one tire but all four, at a discounted price.
