help!! offset experts

i just purchased a set of 17 x 7.5 with a 42 offset instead of the correct +48. Does anyone know what i can do to correct this problem without sneding the wheels back. I was thinking to add 6 mm spacers......is that the ghetto fix or with that act like a 48 offset. Any input please

If you add spacers, the Offset number goes down not up. Send the wheels back.

If you have a 02+ Sedan, you should be ok as long as you run like a 225/45/17 tire. You might have to roll the fenders in the rear though.

What kind of wheels?

yea.. i think im going to send them back because they look like they will rub when i lower my car.
I have an 04 sedan and the wheels are work meister S2R 17x7.5 +42 with 225/45/17 toyo proxes
