everybody is concerned about their rim weights, what about tires? anybody with info on tire weigths please post them up. all i know is Falken Azenis 225/45/17 is about 30 lbs.!! ya, HEAVY.
People who know your rim's weight, go take a scale and see how much it weights with a tire mounted.
specify the size and type of rim.
i know some wheels take more lead to balance but it's not off by far, so just give the total wheel weight and subtract rim to get tire weight
thanks,
sweep

Here's what I've gathered in my search, either from the manufacturers or from a dealer (specifying shipping weight).
Azenzis ST-115 215/45/17 = 23.7 lbs.
Falken FK-451 215/45/17 = 24.3 lbs.
Yokohama AVS-ES100 215/45/17 = 24.4 lbs
Bridgestone RE730 215/45/17 = 23 lbs
Bridgestone S03 Pole Position 215/45/17 = 24 lbs
For comparison,
OE Bridgestone RE92 205/55/16 = 21 lbs
They're all a couple lbs. heavier than stock. All the better if you can find an aftermarket wheel that is a couple lbs. lighter than stock. Without going forged, it's not an easy task...
