Hankook tires?

Can anyone give me a comparison between Hankook Ventus K104 or any other good summer Hankook tire to maybe something like Kumho Ecsta 711 or 712? I am clueless on how Hankook tires perform.. Thanks in advance.

Oh random question: Does bronze or steel grey (rota torques) go better on black? May i please have your lovely opinion =)

well they have almost the exact same tread pattern. i don't know much about hankook tiresm but i do know that 712s suck. i would rather run re-92s the rest of my life then run a set of 712s

well a lot of people say the 712s are pretty good tires, but most of them have never done any sort of aggressive drving nor driven on good tires. and every person that i have known that goes and tries to drive hard on them and are able to compare themselves to someone else on decent tires, they want to sell them right away and get upset at themselves for wasting there money

so if you just drive on the highway and don't really do much, then i am sure they will be fine for you since they are pretty inexpensive.

hmm yea im gonna be goin through lota twisties around the bay and maybe couple auto x, yet i want my tires to last, so i think im gonna consider gettin some RE750s.. kinda expensive, but good handling ratings with one of the higher tread ratings.

Has anyone had any experience with the Sumitomo HTR Z11?

Well, i work for Hankook Tire Corp.
K104s are great for all around wet and dry... i even used them for the snow blizzard we had, hehe

but if you want just summer tires, get the R compound Z211, or when they come out the Z212.

R compound? Not exactly. You mean "max performance summer." Please see your PMs regarding vendor policy on i-Club.

The 711's and the 712's make good fires or boat fenders....and the Sumitomo HTRz II's were ok, but they were LOUD...it took them off at 1/2 tread
