Question Got a few tire questions

Okay, so here's what's up. I live in Colorado, where is snows in the winter, but it's pretty dry in the summers. I've got 16's on there right now, and I've got some P1 17's on the way. Basically I want some good snow tires for the 16's, and some better summer tires for the 17's. But naturally, I'd like them both to be able to handle the other since the seasons run together here. So I'm wondering if there's like tires that are all season, but geared towards one or the other. I'll probably end up with some nitto's on the 17's but still not sure. Would those do okay in snow? What do you guys think?
