+1 for Kumho.

Been running Kumhos on my cars in Japan and now the ASX's on my wagon. Good tire for the money, they do tend to make a little more road noise, but the ASX is quieter than the MX's.

Got them on both my hondas. Gota get some for my Impreza coming fall.
Not THE best for snow, but it will suffice for all season.

You running them thru the winter in MN? I know it's been mild. I was there school 74 and then visited Jan. this year - big difference. I enjoyed driving in snow - ice was another thing

If you want a lot better than Kumhos, get PZero Nero M+S. IMHO, best tire built for sporty daily driving.

I'm running the Avon Tech M550 A/S and think they are great.

Mind you this is in our wonderful Michigan winter and they perform admirable in the snow. Obviously not as good as my Michelin snow tires that I had last year but still good tires.

avon? Those tires look pretty good for the price- no one here in Hawaii retails them. Or at least I don't know of anyone selling them.

The Avons have worked great for me for almost two seasons. I am going to get a good summer tire this year and save the avons for the winter only, I think.

I have a set of Fusion HRI all seasons on my truck and on my wifes vw beetle. They have been great, handle good with no noise in turns and they grip fairly well in the snow as well. I always drive spirited by the way oh and I have a set of toyo proxes 4 on my WRX wagon but I have not had a chance to try these out yet
(need to get my motor back in .

+1 for Yoko Avid V4S's.
I have used those on my Eclipse GST and my WRX for years now....good wear and decent traction for the price. I have heard that in tests they didnt do all that well in the rain but I havne't noticed that on the WRX at all. Now on my Eclipse I did have tractionissues but I experienced the same thing with Eagle RS-A's and a set of Dunlops as well. Being FWD, it sucked in the rain.
