fender rolling

i am running 18x8.5 w/ +48 offset w/ 245/40/18 wheels. i noticed a little rubbing on the fender side. i am considering rolling my fenders. well, i dont really have a choice. it only rubs when i have a lot of weight in the back, i.e. backseat passengers. i heard that the paint will crack if i roll the fenders. has anyone done this with out cracking? any advice or past experience will help. thanks in advance.

get a heat gun and put a little heat on it not to much or the paint will burn, just enough so you can catch a finger nail in it if you dont have a proper roller use a bat wraped with hockey tape (its what i use kind of ghetto but works well)
