Crashed into a washed out Pot hole.
On the way to work tonight I crashed into a pot hole that was fillled yesterday. I have Toyo proxes on 17" Pro Drive P1's. I drove to work breaking 100 twice. I inspected my car when I got there and noticed the driverside front rim was scratched and near the scratch there was a big buldge in the side wall. Looks like she almost blew out. Anyone ever see this? Luckily I have road hazard warranty so tomorrow I'll go to the tire store and get it replaced. I have a 2002 WRX with light mods....with more to come next week. Thanks and I just wanted to pass this along.

yup. same thing happened to me. i was driving back home from Seattle, getting on the freeway and my Nitto tire went BOOM on a pothole that wasnt fixed. i got out and looked at my tire and there it was... a huge bubble in the middle of the sidewall... lookedl ike my tire had gas... very dangerous to drive on. get that changed quick.
