i had some cooper cobras on my 88 supra and lol... i had a bubble happen not once, but twice and both times it was my fault. and they replaced them muahahahah!!!

 

Actually, both wrx ish and the Daddy are both right.

A tire bulge can happen via a road hazard or it could be a manufacturing defect.

When we deliver our wheels to the OEM, they are already mounted on tires. In a month, we probably mount around 10,000 tires and bulges due to poor quality do happen. And these are OEM spec name brand tires.

 

ive had that happen once on a brand new tire... it was a <insert your favorite brand here>
