You might be better served asking in a local forum (some tires that are available in the US may not be available to you. For instance, I have not heard of Marshall tires...)

MXs and RS-2s are the same price to the local dealers.

I liked the design of the MXs...

still didn't make my choice.

I don't like Kumho's at all, so i would go with the hankook's. I have sold them to a few people here on the I-club.

If what you want is peformance and don't give a crap about tire fashion or where it came from, the Kumho Ecsta MX is the best value you can get in a performance tire. Nothing else that is competetively priced will give you more grip and better mileage.

I'm getting the Hankook RS2's as my next set. Sticky and cheap.

The RS2s do look very good for the price. As valuable as magazine tests are for evaluating tires, remember that all of the tires in the Car & Driver test finished within 10% of each other. Consider too, that no tire pressure info was given and that some of the tires perform better when well-warmed and others do not. Also, the test was done on a BMW 325i, which is a great RWD car but it's not a WRX. Helps to explain why the Conti's got 2nd place in their results.

The best tire evaluation tool I've found is the Tire Rack user comments done by WRX drivers and how likely they are to buy the same tire again.
