BBS RGRs for the '05 WRX sedan
I apologize if this is a repost - but I am about to buy new wheels and I'm very interested to hear what someone else may think.
I am about to buy the BBS RGR - gunmetal.
What do you all think?
I am just starting to learn about the WRX (I have an 05 - Blue) and I figured someof you with more experience could help and give me some inpot.
Should I maybe get something a little less expensive? I am just begining to learn the ins and outs of the car. I really love these wheels and I don't mind spending the money - but is it going to be a waste if there is a chance of me screwing them up?
Sorry if I sound a little lost - but like I said this is my first time buying wheels.

I don't own BBS wheels, but if you like them and can afford them get them. In general they are of the highest quality and as far as screwing them up you can do that to any wheel. RGR are HOT!!!

Great wheels, light and strong.
Also a great BBS post on VW Vortex. Love those BBS LM's

I will echo what everyone else said so far. BBS is one of the best wheel manufacturers in the world (if not arguably the best). There is nothing not to love about these wheel: they are extremely lightweight and strong, and have a beautiful timeless design. HOWEVER, if you decide to go with a big brake upgrade at some point in the future, you will have to go with spacers because these wheels have very little caliper clearance.

Not only does Badfish have a great set of wheels, he also bought a great set of tires. I also have a set of S03's and they were my best investment yet so my advice would be to buy some sticky tires to go with those beautiful wheels.
BTW, running a 225 tire rather than a 215 will help protect your rims from curbing.

Geoff,
Out of curiosity, what brake kits, if any, fit in these wheels - without any spacers.
Thanks in advance.
