750's are great tires. Doesn't wear as fast as other Z rated tires. I wouldn't use them for Autocross or track days, but they do have excellent grip and awesome in the wet. Couldn't compare them to your stock tires since I've never used Re040's.

Thank you.

I still have the stock RE070s, not 040s though

I'm looking for potential alternatives to S0-3's, excepting Kumho Ecsta MX's...

None of the three tires you listed are even close to S03s. If that's the kind of performance you're looking for, there's a pretty short list of competiton.

BFGoodrich KDs
Michelin PS2s
Goodyear GSD3s
Falken Azenis Sports
more RE070s
Yokohama A048s

Right now, those and S03s are the only performance tires I would consider for my car. They're pretty similar in price, except for the Azenis, which are dirt cheap. Also, if you plan to track or autocross, I would avoid the Goodyears as they can't handle excessive heat very well.

The old Sports are crummy. The new ones, the RT-615s, are supposed to be pretty good.

Awful. Just as bad or worse than the RE070s.

From the sticky:

There is 1 glaring omission in this list. It is the BFG G-Force T/A KD. The reason for this tire not being on the list is because of its lack of versatility. It is the best performing tire in the dry but, is almost scary in the wet.

I talked to (evesdroppped)on a Falken rep @ SEMA. He said that they wanted a tire w/ more mass appeal (doesn't look like Ricky Racer's tire) better wet traction & better dry traction. They will be available from 1st quarter of 05.

The Sports suck, the ST115 are not too bad from what I've read/heard.

This threads been dead for a while, but I'm looking at getting some BF Goodridge G-Force Sport, and was wondering if you ever got any first hand opinions on these?
