Advice Black Racing Wheels

I need advice. Has anyone fit 17x8 38mm offset 5x100 Black Racing **** 1 wheels to a 2004 USDM STi. I need info on cars with stock and lowered suspensions.

38mm offset? I don't think that's even close to what is recommended for fitment on a Subaru. Do these wheels clear your Brembos? A search of this forum indicates that at least 45mm is recommended, with 42mm being the very least you should run on a Subaru.

If you stray to far from recommended offset one way or the other, you may suffer eventual problems like premature wheel bearing failure or torque steer when accelerating out of a turn. The factory wheels are designed to center the load over the wheel bearings.
