I think that someone like Bulletproof automotive could probably get you whatever tires you want, however when I used to contact people about the Neovas, they told me they couldn't do it because they lacked DOT approval.
Do they sell A046s here by themselves? I've never seen them on the Yok website, just the R-comp A032s and A048s.

See that is what I was getting at. There are a plethora of tires on import makes that are available as OE. But most of those tires are not available in other sizes. For instance the RE 050, which is OE. Not until recently, those tiress were available only in a few select sizes. I think that is the case with the 046s. Of course you could check www.yrc.co.jp

Luckily, the A046s come in 235/45/17 as a stock size, which as far as I know, would work fine on a WRX. They are very expensive though, like $212/tire is the best price I found, however lots of people seem to be saying that their dry grip is even better than the S-03s and inferior only to the R-comps.

If they only bring them out in the sizes for the Elise, I imagine they'll be very expensive indeed, probably upwards of $800/set, like the A046s are. Personally, for tires like that (or R-comps, etc..) I'd just keep a set on some other wheels lying around somewhere, mount them on occasion, and then drive on something less expensive but still good every day, like AVS ES100s.
Ok, here it is. A vid with the AD07s in action and commentary about them. You probably can't understand, but it's a sick vid.
Enjoy.

BTW, It's a streaming vid. You won't regret clicking the link.

...just the R-comp A032s and A048s.
I hope they sell the JDM version in the states.
The ADO7 is made in two compounds right now. A Japan only compound which is softer and of course offers more grip and the ones they sell in the rest of Asia which has a slightly harder compound.
I am running the JDM ones in a WRX in the Philippines and in my opinion, the grip levels are very near R tire territory while still docile enough for street use.
A street tire which can be used on the track as compared to the A048 which is a track tire that can be used on the street

I would not count on these being sold by April...Advan promised us A048's as of last June...we are all still waiting
We have sold JDM tires to people before, but its honestly so expensive, it is hardly worth it except for the most ardent JDM showcrowd scene.
