I got this a while back from an i-club member. it might be handy...

the Aspect ratio is the percentage of the width... so
a 200/50 will have a sidewall height of 100mm. So to
calculate final diameter, you take the aspect*0.01(to
make it percent)*width/25.4(mm to in conversion)*2(two
sidewalls in total diameter)+wheel size
so a 200/50R15 works out to:
15"+200mm*50mm*.01*2/25.4 = 22.87in.

If you go to a 225 on a wagon, make sure you have a wheel with at least a +50 offset. There is a guy who lives near me who has a lowered wagon with 5Zigen Fighters (17x7.5) and 225/45/17 Nitto 455's that doesn't have a rubbing problem. The wheels have a +50 offset. I've also corresponded with others who have +50 or greater offset wheels that don't have a rubbing issue.
A lot of people who buy the Rota's (17x7.5, +48 offset) report rubbing problems with 225's. The 2 mm seems to make a difference.
The other thing to consider is the tire you are planning on getting. Not all 225's are created equally. The Azeni's and HRZ II's have a section width of 9.1' while tires like the BFG KD have a section width of 8.9.
