215/65/15 on a '97 Outback Ltd?

I'm going to need to replace the wife's tires soon and I'm not sure I want to put 205/70/15s on the car--it really seems to limit the selection. I'm not keen on 195/75s either. I'd upgrade the wheels, but my wife just doesn't want to. Can I get 215/65/15 on the stock 15x6" wheels without any rubbing? I know the stock offset is 52mm...that seems a little close to me.

Yes.

But, I am a little confused...there is no shortage of tires in either size, unless you want a performance tire or a specific tread pattern.. Anyway - good luck

Yes, I was looking for a quasi-performance tire, something like a Falken Zeix 512. Good to know it will fit. Thanks!
