18x8 how wide of tire with.......

I just ordered a set of Work XD9's in 18x8 and I would like to run the widest tire i can with this setup. It is an 06 WRX and it will be sitting on Tein Stechs until I get coilovers.
How wide?

I would probably only run a 245 width on a 8inch wheel.

u want the widest? u can stuff 255's on those wheels if you want...not sure how much clearance 06 wrx have but my friends 05 sti clears 255 on sti pink springs
