17x7 offset 55 OK on wrx?

17x7 offset 55 OK on wrx?
sorry if i couldn't find this info with a search. only thing i could find was that 17x7 with 53 offset was ok. is 55mm offset too much on an 02 wrx? any possible problems?

....there have been reports of bearing failures in markets outside the US due to offsets below ~+42....I, personally, wouldn't blink at running a +42 offset(for the 'right wheel') but staying 'over' that is better if at all possible...which is one reason that I bought the SSR Comps....+50 offset
