xede stage 1 w/o pulley
will running the stage 1 maps w/o your pulley cause any problems? Is the pulley taken into consideration on this map? I've heard mixed things about the pulleys and I'd rather not risk anything, I [plan on having my car for a long time to come. Thanks.

I've had zero issues with my Vishnu pulley since the Stage Zero install date of March 2003. I now have 57k+ miles on the engine.

I don't have the pulley, I've been running just a catless exhaust and XEDE with the Vishnu Stage One map, it's worked fine but the timing in that map is backed way off. Maybe that has something to do with the pulley, I dunno.
If you or someone you know is familiar with tuning WRXs, let them take a look at the map. An acquaintance adjusted my timing and boost in the Stage One map and I've had zero problems from it. The Vishnu map is just not aggressive, it's safe so you don't break anything when using it. You must take it upon yourself to decide if you want it to be more aggressive and there is room, at least on my car there was room to push it.
So... if you're just gonna ride around on the Stage One map for a LONG LONG time (no other upgrades) then you might wanna get your car tuned on a dyno so you can get the most out of it.
When my Stage One map was adjusted I noticed a nice gain.
