I had the same problem with mine. The kartboy hangers fixed it. The stock hangers have to much flex in them and make the exhaust rattle against the frame at the rear diff. Oddly with mine, as the exhaust got hot and expanded, the rattle disappeared. But the hangers finally removed all the rattling. The hangers are cheap and easy to install (just make sure you have some wd-40!)

Just chiming in ... I had the same problem as portrayed in the pictures with the TBE install on my 05 STi. I adjusted the hanger screws on the muffler to move it as far right as possible (if standing behind the car and looking at the rear). It's still a tight fit over that particular suspension/frame bit, but I haven't heard it hitting since adjusting the muffler. The only thing now is that the tip doesn't come out exactly in the center of the bumper cutout ... it's a bit off to the right. I'm using the stock hangers.

I tried a few things, adjusting the threaded left/right adjustment, Mercedes hangers..but nothing really holds up when you're going 100 down broken tarmac....kartboy to the rescue.... (although i've lived with the occasional bang for months now...) My car has a bunch of 'rattle's' in it after a year anyways..
