Hey guys!

So I have an Xede in my car and I am waiting to get tuned by you, but need to take care of a few things before I make an appointment. However, while I was thinking about tuning, I was wondering if anyone had done it and if it was possible to get a switch to change the Xede maps on the fly, because I am not one that wants to carry my laptop around. Any information on this would be great.

There's a pin on the Xede to switch maps by grounding it. To load maps into the other bank, flip your switch (grounding the pin) and then load... you should have two banks ready to switch in the fly.

What does the switch look like? A basic toggle...or something like this TurboXS piece for their UTEC with a factory mounting plate? Just curious. Thanks!

 

any simple toggle switch will do. It just grounds a pin to Xede. If you want something fancy, look at the locking switch for the dual boost controller that TXS has... or spend $0.79 at radio shack.
